Like it or not, Green Thing Has Good Message! Check out the video!

I tend to read Mashable all the time, and it turned me on to a good site that I'm going to monitor for awhile.  It's not because it's an environmental site.  It's how it gets it's message across.  Personally I'm not usually interested in environmental sights, but that's because I tend to disagree with what is being proclaimed as science.  Most green science seems to be magically invented numbers which when researched don't make sense.  I've seen this before with other heated debate topics.  I've done my research and have come to a conclusion, that conclusion can always change, but I'm not buying the "going" green cause because I see it as a created fad. A fad created which has some basis in truth, but ultimately ficticious. Remember, I'm always willing to change my mind.

Personally, I'm showing on their video because it does have a good message. It's slightly dirty, but it's very well done and has inspired me for something that we have coming in a few months on the site with a web comic based on gaming culture. But enough of the leadup already, Green Thing is a very cool site that offers ways in which you can help live a more green lifestyle. If your on twitter, I'm sure, 21c will be picking the story up soon. There are a lot of these sites poping up lately (fad) .

Green Thing offers suggestions for green living are offered on a monthly basis. This months theme is walking over driving - which is a good message and not just for "green" reasons. It also adds a little bit of social elements, once you’ve done the green thing of the month, you can tag that it's completed and even give it a little bit of personal flare.  Green Thing then shows you how your actions once completed are in the end, shrinking your global footprint.  MyAbodo and GreenVoice offer similar services, but not the groovie video.
