If your in the Pittsburgh Area, I'd like to bring to your attention the Return of the 24 Hour Creative Marathon.

The 24 Hour Creative Marathon is a two-part event, beginning with a 24-hour artistic marathon and culminating in a gallery show and sale the following day.

Do you like to make things?

Beginning Friday, September 28th, at 8pm, artists will have 24 hours to create a piece of work pertaining to the theme “Lost and Found.” Registration is FREE for marathon participation.

Please complete and send in the registration form to pre-register. Registrations will be accepted at the door, but we have a 150 registrant maximum so you better sign up like, yesterday.

Anyone is welcome to register, it's completely open to the public and for artists of all levels — from professionals, to amateurs, to the curious and for those that just like to sleep deprive themselves.

Do you like to look at art?

24 hours later, at 8pm Saturday, September 29th, the Creative Treehouse will feature these works in a gallery show, along with food, drinks and live music. All this for only less than $2.  You can even purchase artwork with the process going to the Creative Treehouse.

I will personally be there volunteering for Josh Sager (marthon organizer) and Jesse Hambley (the mind behind the Creative Treehouse).  I'll also be blogging from the event, so stay tuned to get Marthon updates and also some special interviews from both organizers and artists from the event!
